In recent months, the Amazon rainforest has been affected by thousands of fires that collectively have cleared more than 7,400 square miles of rainforest in Brazil. This ecological catastrophe will have devastating consequences on the atmosphere, climate change, and a vast number of plants and animals.

Committed to environmental sustainability, Viskase has partnered with the ONE TREE PLANTED foundation, an environmental charity started in 2014. Since its inception ONE TREE PLANTED has more than doubled the number of trees planted year over year and worked with reforestation partners in North America, South America, Asia, and Africa to restore forests after fires and floods creating jobs, building communities, and protecting habitats for biodiversity.

Thus far Viskase is committed to planting 1,000 trees and will continue to support these efforts, learn more about our environmental efforts. ​
